The same clear path for every matter.
Whether you are owed money, buying property, settling an estate or running a business from abroad, you know the next step and its cost before it starts.
Start your matterFrom first message to written report.
You deal with one case manager throughout. Behind them, we assign the lawyer or specialist best suited to your matter.
Conflict check
Share only the names of the parties involved. We confirm we can act before you send anything confidential.
Fixed-scope proposal
What we will and won’t do, the timeline, the fee and the responsible lawyer for any legal work.
We act in Thailand
Documents, authorities, counterparties and site visits, by power of attorney where needed.
Written report and next steps
Updates on an agreed schedule, and a written outcome with options for what follows.
1. The conflict check comes first
Before you tell us anything confidential, we check that we can act for you. All we need are the names of the people and companies involved. We run the check behind the scenes, before any lawyer or specialist sees your file. Please don’t send contracts, statements or personal documents until we confirm.
2. A proposal with a fixed scope
Once we can act, you receive a written proposal for the first stage only. It sets out:
- what we will do, and what is excluded;
- the timeline and the update schedule;
- the fixed fee for that stage, with any official fees listed separately;
- for legal work, the responsible lawyer and their credentials.
Nothing starts until you accept it. Legal work is carried out under a separate engagement letter with a licensed Thai lawyer. How fees are structured is explained on Fees & process.
3. We act in Thailand while you stay where you are
Most matters can be run remotely. Where someone needs to act for you in Thailand, you sign a power of attorney where you live, certified or legalised as required, subject to applicable rules and regulations. Our teams then deal with documents, authorities, counterparties and site visits. If a step genuinely needs you in Thailand, the proposal says so.
4. A written report, and your decision on what comes next
Every stage ends in a written report with numbered sections: the scope and exclusions, a summary, the findings (for a contract, a clause-by-clause issues table), recommendations, and next steps with their fees. You decide whether to continue. The sample report shows the format.
